| it's been a few days since i've settled into my very own apartment. it's pretty nice for a really really old apartment complex. i got an efficiency!
when i walked inside i was pleased to see that it was nothing like the terrifying conditions of riverside and west campus apartments i've seen and heard about. everything was pretty clean and the floors were vacuumed. the only thing i can complain about is that.. there is no microwave and my bathtub did not come with a shower rod to put a shower curtain on.. so for the first 2 nights.. i took ghetto showers with no curtain and water splashing everywhere. fun stuff.
also.. my bathroom sink's knobs are switched. right = hot and left = cold. there hasn't been a time yet.. where i've used it and remembered that. so yes.. multiple finger burning moments.
lessee.. i have already managed to set off my fire alarm while cooking turkey bacon.
i still dunno where the laundry room is.
anyway.. is lonely here.. come visit me!

| on the food network.. they showed this restaurant in new york called Rice to Riches and basically.. it is the rice pudding equivalent of Marble Slab or any of those types of creameries. i would like to go there.. and eat delicious rice pudding.
moving is a pain.. i'm glad i didn't have that much stuff to bring. however.. i did forget all my shoes so i only have one pair of flip flops for a week or 2. also.. i was getting ready to set up my computer, and realized.. i forgot both my monitor and PC at home. what i do have are the speakers, mouse, and keyboard.
other than that.. move in weekend wasn't so bad. driving over here stresses me out.. i feel like i have to mentally prepare myself before i go out driving again. eric helped me feel better haha. he left to go back to houston around 4pm.. i was sad.
i better make good grades this semester dangit.

| not being 21 is laaame
eric and i were supposed to go to my sister's birthday gathering today at this place called 702 in houston. it's faaar, and when we get there.. the dood decides to check everyone's ID. so of course.. i can't get in because it's 21 and up. then a few minutes later i see these 2 little girls who can't be in anything passed 4th grade walk out of the darned place. screew you mr ID checker! why couldn't he just mark my hand with a big ugly X or something? luckily, me and eric drove separate from my sister and brother..so we just left and ended up eating at Ninfas! their chips and salsa = dericious. the end.

| the click five concert was so good! their opening band, big city rock, was really good too. wish i had my camera..
